I stayed at the Ali-Shan Dengshan Hotel for one night. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the bus stop. The room was quite small, especially with three double beds, but it was clean and well-appointed. One downside was the lack of a lift and the noise from neighboring rooms, but overall it served its purpose for my trip.

I had a mixed experience at Ali-Shan Dengshan Hotel. The location was perfect for visiting the area, but the room was quite tiny for my family of six. While the hotel had its charm, the lack of a lift and some soundproofing issues were a bit of a letdown.

The room was tiny but clean, equipped with a fan heater and mattress heaters, which were essential in the cold winter. However, with three double beds in such a small space, it felt cramped.

The staff were very helpful and even arranged our rail tickets for the sunrise. However, I did find the check-in process a bit odd since no one was at the reception initially.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot—just a two-minute walk from the main bus stop and close to the Visitor Centre. It's super convenient for exploring Alishan.
Dining

Breakfast was simple, consisting of Taiwanese porridge and a few dishes, but you had to walk 50 meters to another hotel to eat it, which was slightly inconvenient.
Facilities

While the hotel had the basics covered, it lacks a lift and isn't soundproof. The heater worked on a timer, and the door had a noticeable gap which let in cold air.

I stayed at the Ali-Shan Dengshan Hotel for one night, primarily for its strategic location and affordability. The room was a bit cramped since it housed three double beds, but it was equipped with a fan heater and electric blankets, which were essential given the cold weather. While the hotel had a few downsides, like thin walls and no elevator, it met my basic needs and was conveniently close to eateries and the tourist information center.

While the hotel had basic amenities, the absence of an elevator made it tough with heavy luggage. The bathroom cleanliness was also questionable.
